HYBRID PHOSPHATE AND SILICATE CONTROL

PhosCore effectively targets phosphates and silicates at top speed. Its porous structure and large surface area allow for extensive, insoluble binding, while its robust composition ensures long-lasting resistance to physical breakdown during use.

PhosCore combines the phosphate removal strengths of aluminum oxide with granular ferric oxide (GFO) in a single, advanced media.

USE

  Ongoing phosphate and silicate control


Rinse PhosCore before use and place it where water flows well but doesn’t cause the media to move too much. It works in canister filters, media chambers, box filters, or high-flow trickle filter areas, and a filter bag is recommended. Use about 1/4 cup (50 grams) per 50 gal (200 L) saltwater or 100 gal (400 L) freshwater. Leave it for 4 days, then test for phosphates or silicates. Replace if levels rise above 0.02 mg/L.
